Horvath Communications Builds New Tower In Gary Neighborhood

Gary, IN-Horvath Communications today broke ground on a new cell phone tower that will ensure residents in the Miller section of Gary receive quality cell phone reception.  Today’s groundbreaking, at the old water lift station at 800 N. Montgomery Street, represents 18 months of collaboration between Horvath Communications, the City of Gary, and the Indiana State Historic Preservation Office.  The Lift Station is located within the boundaries of Marquette Park, a recently nominated register of the National Historic Places.  Horvath Communications worked closely with the Indiana Preservation Office to preserve the natural history and aesthetics of the site including donating historical markers.

Horvath Communications, based in South Bend, IN., is a leading developer and manager of wireless cell phone towers in the Midwest.  Company President Jackie Horvath said the new tower will benefit both private citizens and public safety officials. ““The Gary police and fire departments will also share this tower, making it easier for emergency calls to come through.” The Miller Business Association and the Miller Citizen’s Corporation will sub-lease a portion of the land at the site to Horvath Communications. The proceeds from that sub-lease will go to the Miller Community fund which helps support various community projects.

Since founding the company in 1996 Jackie Horvath has established Horvath Communications as a trusted developer and manager of wireless communication towers.  Horvath towers are consistently rated among the highest in occupancy in their respective regions.  For more information about Horvath Communications, Inc. please visit our website at www.horvathcommunications.com
