Horvath Communications Completes Sale of Certain Tower Assets to Global Signal

SOUTH BEND , IN – MAY 20, 2005: Horvath Communications, Inc., a leading developer and manager of wireless communications towers in the Midwest, has successfully completed a sale of certain tower assets to a subsidiary of Global Signal, Inc., based in Sarasota, Florida. Horvath Communications continues to own over 40 towers and to manage an additional 500 sites. Other sites are currently in development.

Horvath Communications, based in South Bend, Indiana, owns and develops towers for wireless communications carriers and public safety entities. Horvath towers are consistently rated among the highest in occupancy in their respective regions. Horvath’s principal, Jackie Horvath, has established Horvath Communications as a leading developer and manager of towers in the greater Indiana and Chicagoland region.

Fairmount Partners of West Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, acted as advisor to Horvath Communications in the sale transaction.
